Albert William Stepto was born in 1894, the son of Mr. W.H. Stepto of 29 St. Leonards Street, Belgravia and served with the 1st Company, 48th Divisional Training Battalion, Royal Army Service Corps in France from 5 June 1916 and posted to Italy on 23 Nov 1917.
