** NEW ** WWI Canadian Ross bayonet with British proof marks and the British contract Pattern, with blade ground to a different shape from other models and pommel stamped with Ross Rifle Co. and patent number, housed in British type scabbard with brass stud and internal chape.

Description

This is the rare British contract pattern, as the Ross was frequently affected by trench mud and the bayonet was withdrawn from use and replaced by the S.M.L.E. The Ross was then issued to Royal Navy personnel and British training units.
