Description

Arthur John Preece was born in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and worked as a miner before enlisting with the South Wales Borderers at Brecon on 25 July 1906, contracting malaria in India in Aug 1910 and entering France with the 1st Battalion, South Wales Borderers on 13 Aug 1914.
