Description

Charles Muschamp was born in St Mary's, Ross, Herefordshire, attesting with the Shropshire Light Infantry on 2 Mar 1903 and entering France with the 1st Battalion Shropshire Light Infanty on 10 Sep 1914, receiving a gun shot wound to the left hand on 29 Oct 1914, hospitalised at the 1st Scottish General Hospital in Aberdeen until 26 Dec 1914, returning home after discharge on 3 Mar 1916.
