Description

Yvonne Pauline Shepley-Taylor was born on 31 May 1924 in Rushlme, Manchester, the daughter of Thomas Barker Shepley-Taylor. She enlisted with the Women's Royal Army Corps in 1950 and posted to Kenya, marrying Sergeant James Maurice Murray, R.A.O.C. at the Catholic Church of the Holy Family, Nairobi. She died of lung cancer at Okehampton Hospital on 4 Feb 1972, aged 47.

Anne Louise Shepley-Taylor was born on 8 Nov 1930 and appointed 2nd Lieutenant from Cadet on 9 Jan 1953, made Lieutenant two years later, Captain on same date of 1959 and Major on 9 Jan 1966, retiring on 29 July 1968.
