INDIAN MUTINY MEDAL TO ROBT. JUDGE, 17TH LANCERS

Robert Judge was born in Hamstead and attested with the 17th Lancers on 26 Oct 1854, aged 20 years and served in the Crimea for 7 months and promoted to Corporal on 1 July 1855, tried by Court Martial and imprisoned on 29 Dec 1856, serving during the Indian Mutiny and discharged on 17 July 1860 due to ill health.
