Description

Walter Percy Ducros was born in Birmingham, England in June 1877, the husband of Elizabeth Ducros, joining the Imperial Military Railway in South Africa as a Railway Employee and Military Telegraphist.

Returning to England, Ducros moved to St. Hilda, South Shields, Co. Durham before emigrating to Canada and working as a waiter and then enlisting with the Canadian Expeditionary Force on 23 Sep 1916 and serving with the 11th and 8th Battalion, Canadian Infantry and being admitted to hospital on more than 4 separate occasions.
