WWI WAR MEDAL TO SJT. R.J. WOODCOCK, 2-D. GDS. (D.O.W. 1916)

Robert John Woodcock was born in 1892, the son of Edwin and Martha Ann Woodcock of 57 Pinner Road, Hunters Bar, Sheffield.

Serving with the 2nd Dragoon Guards in France from 18 May 1915, Woodcock died of wounds on 30 Jan 1916, remembered at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen.
