WWI VICTORY MEDAL TO PTE. J.H. SAUNDERS, 16TH (1ST BRADFORD) W. YORK. R. (K.I.A. 1916)

James Henry Saunders was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, the son of James Saunders of Bradford. Serving with the 16th (1st Bradford) Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment, Saunders entered Egypt on 22 Dec 1915, further entitled to the 1914-15 Star and WWI War Medal. Saunders Died of Wounds on 7 Aug and is buried at Avesnes-Le-Comte Communal Cemetery.
