Description

Albert Poore was born in Six Bells, Monmouthshire and lived at 6 Graig Row, Six Bells, Abertillery.

Poore served with the 3rd Battalion, Monmouthshire Regiment, listed as attached to the Con. Camp, G.H.Q. and Infantry Base Depot before entering France on 13 Feb 1915.

Poore was Killed In Action on 29 Dec 1915 and buried at Ferme-Olivier Cemetery, Elverdinghe, West Flanders and also commemorated on the Abertillery Central Memorial and St. Michaels Church Memorial, Abertillery.
