Description

William J. Hill died of disease on 13 May 1900 at Rondebosch. Robert Hill served with the 1/5th Battalion, Welsh Regiment, entering the Balkans on 9 Aug 1915, transferring to the 4th Reserve Battalion before being discharged on 25 Sep 1918, no longer physically fit for service.
