Description

Frederick Wilkins was born in London and worked as a Musician before joining the Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment and serving with the 1st Battalion on the Punjab Frontier in India.

Re-enlisting with the Welsh Guards during WWI, Wilkins was awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal in 1921.
