Description
Josiah Kinsey Price was born in Llangurig, Montgomeryshire in 1878, the son of David and Ann Price and lived in Cwmaman, Aberdare before enlisting with the Welsh Regiment and serving with the 1st Battalion during the Boer War attached to the Mounted Infantry.
On the outbreak of WWI, Price entered France with the 2nd Battalion on 13 Aug 1914 as Company Sergeant Major.
He was Killed in Action on 31 Oct 1914, aged 36, and is remembered on the Menin Gate Memorial.
