Description

Percy Sidney Stower was born in West Ham on 14 Mar 1915 and enlisted on 6 Feb 1934 with the Loyal Regiment and was posted to Palestine on 12 Dec 1935, serving there until 11 Oct 1936. Arriving in Singapore on 29 Mar 1938, Stower became a Japanese Prisoner of War on 15 Feb 1942, liberated and repatriated home on 21 Oct 1945, discharged as no longer physically fit on 30 May 1946.
