Description

Dixon is recorded on the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment medal roll for 'Palestine' with a date of 6 Jan 1949, York and a further date recorded of 12 Aug 1952. It can be deduced that Dixon's clasp entitlement should be for Palestine 1945-48, rather than 'Palestine', and may have been issued in error on Dixon's replacement General Service Medal.

Dixon is then recorded on S.A.S. Medal roll for the Arabian Peninsula clasp as serving with 22 S.A.S.
