Description

William Jones was born in Llanidloes, Montgomeryshire in 1879 and attested with the Welsh Regiment at Cardiff on 19 July 1898, serving with the 1st Battalion, Welsh Regiment from 4 Nov 1899 to 24 Sep 1902, further entitled to the King's South Africa Medal with two clasps.
