Description

Arthur William Ross was born in Cirencester, Gloucestershire in 1869 and worked as a tailor before attesting with the Welsh Regiment on 4 Sep 1889.

Ross was posted to Malta from 9 Dec 1889 to 24 Nov 1993 and South Africa from 4 Nov 1899 to 5 Aug 1901.

Ross was severely wounded at Paardeberg on 18 Feb 1900, returning to England on 13 July 1902.
