Military Medal Gazetted 19 Feb 1917.

Frank Williams was born in Wem, Shropshire, the son of George and Rose Williams of 8 Barker's Green, Wem, Shropshire and worked as a railway platelayer before joining the 5th Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry, entering France on 22 May 1915 and transferring to the 7th Battalion, recorded as wounded on 20 Aug 1915.

Williams died of Wounds on 10 Apr 1917 and is buried at Duisans British Cemetery.
