M.M. Gazetted 28 Sep 1917. Albert Edward Brown was born in Edinburgh, Soctland, the son of Margaret Brown of 5 Regent Hill, Brighton and John Brown of 8 Croft Rd., Bromley, Kent. and lived in Brighton, Sussex. He attested with the Royal Fusiliers on 19 May 1916, transferring to the 10th Battalion, Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment, and then the 11th Battalion. Albert Edward Brown was Killed In Action on 20 Sep 1917 and commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial.
