Stanley Prosser Tredinnick was born on 17 Nov 1889 and lived at 34 Cranhurst Rd., Cricklewood, London, the husband of Marion Tredinnick, and worked in the Stock Exchange before joining the 4th (City of London) Battalion, London Regiment, arriving in Egypt as a Private on 24 Aug 1915. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant with the 1st (City of London) Battalion, London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers) on 26 Sep 1916 Tredinnick was promoted to Lieutenant on 26 Mar 1918 and joined the Glamorganshire Yeomanry from 29 Apr 1918 to 27 Sep 1918.
