Description

Ernest Kew lived at 3 Primrose Hill, Northamptonshire and trained at University College Nottingham O.T.C., initially serving with the 28th (County of London) Battalion, The London Regiment (Artists Rifles) before being commissioned with the Northamptonshire Regiment on 1 May 1917 before joining the Royal Flying Corps on 19 Jan 1918, joining 36 Squadron and serving as an Observer as Temporary 2nd Lieutenant on 2 July 1918.
