Description

Robert C. Hoysted was born in Liverpool in 1887, the son of John and Elizabeth Hoysted. He entered France with the 16th Lancers on 17 Aug 1914 and was admitted to hospital not long after receiving this Christmas tin, on 3 Apr 1915, before transferring to the Mounted Military Police and receiving a Long Service & Good Conduct Medal in 1927. He died nine years later in Oct 1936.
