Description

William Weeks was born in Bow, North Tawton, Devon in 1875, the son of Thomas Weeks. Enlisting with the Royal Engineers on 2 Jan 1893, Weeks transferred immediately to the Devonshire Regiment and was posted to South Africa on 20 Oct 1899 to 7 June 1900, and was discharged from service on 1 Jan 1909.
