Description

Kerr & Co. were two brother gunmakers and retailers (James and John), operating from 1855 with shops in London and Birmingham.

John Kerr patented a single percussion solid-frame revolver and a double-action revolver in 1859. Although not as popular as Adams or Tranter, Kerr secured contracts with the Portuguese Army and Confederate States during the American Civil War.
