Description

George Frederick Alldritt was born in Tamworth, Staffordshire and worked as a warehouseman before serving with the 1st South Staffordshire Rifle Volunteers and attesting for the Imperial Yeomanry on 11 Feb 1901 at Birmingham.

Alldritt was posted to South Africa, arriving on 14 Mar 1901 and there until 15 Sep 1902, discharged at Aldershot.

Alldritt moved to Manitoba, Canada before WWI, joining the Canadian Forces overseas, serving with 19th Battery Canadian Field Artillery before discharge in May 1919, then returning to Mulvihill.

Alldritt was given a War Graves headstone as Q.M.S., C.F.A., C.E.F. when he died on 14 Apr 1942.
