Illuminated address on vellum sent to Mussolini by the Town of Perugia, elaborately decorated with Romulus and Remus Coat of Arms, classical temples, female figures holding sword and fasces, script which translates as: To Benito Mussolini, Prime Minister of the Kingdom, artificer and invincible creator of the new destiny of Italy, genius of our race the youth of Umbria loyal and devoted offers the anguishes of the first battles endured on the field of duty in the springtime of the Fascist laws he is open to the vindication of the national juridical science with the same faith and ardour with which the black shirts were inspired as they marched boldly from Perugia on to the Imperial streets of Rome."
