Richardson, R.A.M.C. Accompanied by presentational mantle clock with plaque dedication engraved: ''Presented to Lance Sergt. H. Richardson by the members of the Sergts. Mess 1st Batt. The Lincolnshire Regt. on leaving the service, May 25th 1930', framed family photographs and original Army Forms. *Original paperwork photographed as background to the naming of the medals is unrelated and not included, but there are extensive typed diaries of Richardson's time during the Boer War.
Oscar Henry Richardson served with the Scottish Rifles from 3 Nov 1896 to 2 Nov 1908, recording his exploits during the Boer War in great detail with typed transcripts that accompany the lot, and enlisted with the 59th (North Mid.) Casualty Clearing Station on 22 Mar 1915 and admitted to the Military Hospital, Derby on 31 Dec 1918 with bronchitis 'caused by service', recorded as discharged as no longer physically fit for service on 29 Jan 1919.
