Description

Cyril Turner's family record the following: "Cyril was a reservist in the R.A.O.C. in 1939 and called up on 3 May 1939 to the 48th South Midlands Division and sent to France with the B.E.F. and evacuated from Dunkirk. His unit reformed and he was posted to Palestine aboard the S.S. Orduna which was part of Convoy WS12Z which left Liverpool on 12 Nov 1941.
