Description

Wallace Dolling (alias William Baker) was born in Sidwells, Exeter, Devon in Sep 1883 and worked as a Fireman, Tailor and Baptist from Belgrave St., Liverpool, before moving to Boundary Rd., Leyton, London. He enrolled with the Royal Marines in Sep 1903 and serving until 18 Aug 1909 when he joined the Royal Fleet Reserve and served aboard HMS Centurion from 20 Mar 1917 to 28 Nov 1917 amongst other ships listed on his service papers.
