Description

John Ivor Jacobs was born on 17 Aug 1895 in Neath, Glamorgan, serving aboard battlecruiser HMS New Zealand  from 18 Nov 1912 to 25 Nov 1915 and HM Torpedo Boat Tyne from 24 Dec 1915 to 25 Jan 1916, before a period spent aboard H.M.S. Hood from 10 Jan 1921 to 31 Dec 1921.
