Description

Frederick Arthur Everson was born in 1890 in Holborn, London. He served with the 2nd Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, embarking for Inida on 2 Oct 1908. Evrson married Elsie Herbert in Portsmouth, Hampshire on 27 Mar 1914 and had two daughters. Following the outbreak of WWI, Everson disembarked on 13 Aug 1914 and served as a Drummer in the 1st Battalion, Linc. R. and later transferred to the Durham Light Infantry and served as Trooper in the Scots Greys, listed under section U.K.4.B. with a regimental number of 6630264.
