From General List of Cases: 'Frank Slaughter, waterman, at great personal risk, rescued Charles Morris from drowing at Littlehampton, on the 8th September, 1891'. 'Frank Slaughter, innkeeper, at great personal risk, rescued D.H. Moore from drowning at Arundel, on the 2nd June, 1895'. 'On the 15th August, 1900, a girl named Clarke fell into 8 to 10 feet of water in the Arun at Bury, Sussex. at great risk, Frank Slaughter, waterman, jumped in and rescued her'.
